Wow, I know it's been forever since we've posted, and here's why: I did extensive allergy testing and found out I'm not allergic to wheat. Because of this, I took another blood test which came back negative for gluten intolerance. And I must say, as much as I tried eating gluten free, it was hard, and a few times a week I would give in and have my wheat fix ;) So basically as long as I don't over eat gluten, I can enjoy it without many problems. Woo-hoo! I said, and went back to eating gluten again. The other reason for not posting is the work involved. Most Sunday afternoons were spent finding a recipe and buying ingredients and our evenings were spent prepping, cooking, setting up the camera/lighting equipment, photographing, eating, taking notes, cleaning up, dismantling the camera/lighting equipment, writing and posting — which was exhausting!
So, to get back into posting we've decided to make things easier — by taking pix only with our iPhone or point and shoot, posting on occasion, and keeping our our posts short and sweet. All recipes will still remain gluten free.
We really enjoy cooking and love having an online journal to refer to, and look forward to posting new recipes when we can.
